So true. Trump’s speech was the most un-American speech I’ve ever heard from any candidate for any office. What a disgrace.

The idea of that lying, hate spewing, p.o.s. representing my country gets more terrifying by the day.

I literally had to turn him off to keep from vomiting. Talked to a couple “arch” Republicans, and even THEY were disgusted and turned him off.

There was once several countries on the North and South American continents. There was mostly peace, plenty and prosperity. The cities were clean and safe. There was trade between many of these countries. There was little disease. People were generally free and happy. Then the Europeans came. They brought civilization, war, disease, poverty. rape, murder, slavery, and a religion promising you that you would burn forever, unless you gave them all your money and your boys and girls.

Obama could not get members of Congress to agree to his plan for rebuilding the infrastructure or anything else, for that matter.

Old Texan75 said, “There was once several countries on the North and South American continents. There was mostly peace, plenty and prosperity.”.You just think that because most of the records were destroyed or never written. The Aztecs were at war with their neighbors and those they subdued were required to pay tribute of their sons and daughters who served as slaves until their hearts were cut out as offering to their gods..Incas had many bloody wars of conquest..Wandering tribes roamed the lands looking for things to steal or destroy, people to enslave, rape or kill..Many had little concept of agriculture so they hunted game until scarce and preyed on those who did raise crops, then moved on to the next area to prey on whomever they met. .“The cities were clean and safe.”.Not really. Dung doesn’t magically remove itself. Many dangers. .“There was trade between many of these countries.”.This part is true but not free and open trade, often through third parties or even more, due to tribal hatreds..“There was little disease. People were generally free and happy. ".False image caused by not really knowing how it was and by filling in the blanks with our utopian dreams which ignore human nature and obvious evidence of war, disease, slavery, starvation..Many welcomed the Europeans as being better than their current oppressors. They really liked the cows and horses, tools, even the loving god who did not require them to cut their children’s hearts out in sacrifice.
