We really don’t need the Snowbirds on our side of the Webster-Ashburton Treaty Line any more than they want us on their side…unless we have a lot of money to spend or a beautiful daughter to marry off, but then again, why would we want our daughters to marry traitors to the American Revolution, United Empire Loyalists and even Redcoat descendants themselves?
The moral majority and compassionate conservatives ended up being the ones with the death panels they kept warning you about. Maybe if had school prayer and no swears in music this wouldn’t have happened.
What I find fascinating is this:For as long as I can remember Republicans have been saying that life begins at birth, and that a fetus is a human being, whose life must be protected.So, along comes the Zika virus,a pathogen that attacks the unborn. You would think that these so called, ‘pro-life’’crowd would want to spare no effort to fight this bug.So…DID they?
Several potential vaccines exist but need testing..Standard testing involves immunizing many people in an area where potential for transmission exists. This is slow and uncertain..For most of us the virus is not that harmful.To speed up development, give people like me the potential vaccine then inject us with the virus and see if we catch it..If it works on us, give it to those most at risk as soon as possible..If it fails, try another.
