Breaking Cat News by Georgia Dunn for November 20, 2016
Transcript:
Elvis: Lupin fell down a laundry chute or some nonsense. Puck: Puck here where Lupin has tumbled down a tiny door. Lupin? Lupin: Thanks, Puck! I'm in a subterranean level never before known to cats! Puck: Oooh! What can you tell us? Lupin: There's a lush jungle of warm socks! A ledge where the ground always quakes. This must be where the People harvest their pocket lint... Puck: But is it scary, Lupin? Lupin: Not at all, Puck. There's a soft, deep rumbling like a purr and the air smells gently of lilacs and vanilla. Yes, Puck, it's a haven of quiet solitude. Figaro: Que?

Many thanks to yesterdays commenters for the house design arrangements and laundry ‘chute’ explanation. Also, I suppose the other cats speak Spanish for us because their people speak Spanish (also re. Yesterday)

Viet: of course cats raised in a Spanish speaking household would speak Spanish! Cats learn to recognize whatever language their servants speak, and some are probably multilingual!

Warm socks and a purring washing machine – It’s cat paradise!Love how Figaro blends right in with the laundry until he sits up.

Information for any who don’t visit the website. Georgia has stated that the new strips will begin around March (Marchish as she puts it). But she also says there will be a few surprises before then! Hmmm.

We once had a kitty named Astrophe. (That was her last name; her first name was “Cat”) Whenever my wife was not at home, she would wander through the house calling “Where aaaare you? Where aaaare you?”

I have found that in a lot of countries the cats seem to understand Welsh as well as the local language.
