If Obama wanted to study bribes and how to do it right, he should have investigated Hillary’s work as his Secretary of State.

Somehow suspect nobody will ever be indicted for the Obama ransom payments, unlike the alleged legal lapses in the Reagan administration. Quite the opposite, Obama seems quite willing to ignore obvious criminal acts committed by his apparatchiks.

We were going to have to pay the money because legally it was Iran’s. The money would have to have been returned, irregardless of the hostage’s fate. So simply put, we were holding the money hostage until they returned the people. But I guess it’s beyond your mental capacity. And I remember a lotta ……whining from Rethugs about the hostages and what needed to be done. We basically got them back for free, but nothing satisfies anyone.

Except that the money was held until the prisoners were free. So who was the “hostage”? Sounds like it was the money.

Just for the sake of argument, say it WAS ransom. So Stantis and his ilk would rather it had not been paid, and the hostages left to rot in Iran for several more weeks / months / years? Or that a war should have been declared with Iran?

pschearerMurderers? You conveniently ignore the ritual killings approved by the various states, or the police lynchings immediately whitewashed occurring almost every day in the US.

Let me get this straight – we used their money to leverage the release of our people, and there’s a problem with that?
