I remember when my brother decided to dig a foxhole while my parents were out. By the time they got back it was about 3 feet deep by 3 feet wide.

If he were older, I’d say he’s digging up his past.

As kids, we could get under the front porch. The dirt was fine. We dug a hole about 8’ deep all the way to the house foundation. We didn’t know it was the footing. We told dad we hit cement. We had a step ladder under there so we could go to the bottom. Dad was not happy. He made us fill it in. Looking back we were pretty lucky there was no collapsing of the walls!

I hope this means that Calvin has killed and buried that school-yard bully Moe, and needs top-soil and grass seed to cover his grave.

If I was Dad. I would not be worried about the garden or the lawn.

I would want a status report on the family room and the basement bathroom.
