Good morning Vagabonds..It’s a quiet day here in the Ozarks, of course that can change in the next 5 minutes. :).Had a good time with the grandkids last night at supper, now I get to start getting ready for a BBQ on Monday. .Everyone have a great day.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Horrible night last night. There’s a wildfire burning in Canyon Creek, about 10 miles west of us, and the smoke is horrific! We had to shut the whole house, and had a very fitful night. :((

Chris, how neat to have a Thursday “special”!David……Jack has mowed our back lawn only once this entire season! The deer and occasional rabbit graze and keep what we have nicely trimmed.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, I know what you mean about the smoke. Having lived in SO CA for so long, we were subjected to that several times. There’s not a whole lot you can do until the fire is out.

Chris, I am glad you have your Thursdays with the grandkids. I wish mine were closer.

David, both of my yards are all rock, so no mowing here. With the heat around here it takes a lot of water to keep a lawn nice, so most of us opt for the “desert landscaping”.

My friend Cecelia reminds me a lot of my dad in his final months. We had a nice visit yesterday and I hope to do it again soon.

The forecast is for 99 and clear, but then it was the same yesterday and we got a huge thunderstorm. Great big drops and loud, close thunder. I was driving when it started, and you could see waves of water hitting the street. When I got out of the car I was soaked in the 10 feet I ran to Cecelia’s front door.
