    Good morning Vagabonds.

Well the weatherman was right, we got some rain. It was so little you could only see some of it on the plastic hand rail. Nothing on the ground.

Howdy Vagabonds.Hum, September first already (YIKE!) Where has it gotten to?The Labor Day weekend is looking good weather wise.Parade in Albany, FD chicken BBQ. (yummy). The trip to Dartmouth – Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH went of without a hitch. A lot of wet pavement but we didn’t have rain on us till we got home. Barely got in the house before it really started coming down.Amazing how the rain will block the satellite signal. (0.o).All y’all have good times today, later..ttfn

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Well, we had our 14th day of this summer hitting just over 90 degrees yesterday. That might be our last of the year. WooHoo!

Arthur, how is Karen doing? No news is good news, right?Mark, sounds like you got the rain Arthur was hoping for. We’re finally supposed to get some rain Sunday night and Monday. This should knock down all the smoke we’ve had. At least we were able to open up everything last night and this morning.

Time for my ‘toon tour, and to make a batch of Everyday Whole Grain Crusty Bread, and then my killer Apple Bran muffins. Come on by after they’ve cooled a bit…..I always make extras. :))

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, those muffins sound wonderful. I’ll be right over….

Today I plan to visit my friend with stage 4 cancer. She’s ready to go “home”, but she’s worried about her sister. The sister is not good at loss, and won’t handle it well. Please pray for both of them, Cecelia has cancer and her sister is Sarah. Sarah is so good to Cecelia. She owns the house where Cecelia lives rent free, and with this crisis she has quit her job and moved in with Cecelia to take care of her. Her heart is so big, but so vulnerable.

Yesterday only got up to 102, and according to the forecast we won’t have any more 100+ temps for the foreseeable future. No hint of rain anywhere, but at least it is a bit cooler. The best part is that the night time temps are coming down to the 60’s and 70’s. That will be such a relief!

Oh, and I was right about yesterday. Laziness got in the way.

Hello again.Well we did get the rain this morning and into this afternoon. Has stopped right now. Was fairly steady but not too heavy. Better than nothing.
