I hope I’m not speaking too soon, but it looks like my laptop is fixed. For a long time I kept getting kicked off line. So I took it to our local guru and performed some kind of magic on it that was way beyond my capability. I haven’t been kicked off line now for three whole days! And even Windows 10 works now!

My little computer is in need of a good cleaning, the hard drive is full. I can get on line but, I can’t save anything. Modern conveniences. (eh).Ah, the sun is shining on the leaves. Woo hoo!.Best day to you all..ttfn
We have some warm weather up here……high 80’s, and then by Friday, we get a dip down to the 70’s! Maybe Fall is coming. We managed to sit out last night and only saw a few satellites before the clouds moved in.
Jack and I celebrated our 54th Anniversary of the day we met. Wow! It seems just like yesterday! Time really does fly!
Rita, I never thought about commemorating the day Michael and I met. I would have to think about when that might have been. He was hired as a temp to replace me when I went on vacation in June of 1978 (I do remember that Mike was 11 months old). He stayed on when I came back, and we have been friends, etc. ever since. So sometime in June, probably the latter half, 38 years ago.
Back to the routines today. I’m looking forward to it!
Good morning, Vagabonds. Thanks for your concern about my absence. Today, I tried to read my comics going back to my hiatus starting August 17. So far I’ve read “One Big Happy” (including the Creators edition) and “Pickles,” but my viewing keeps getting interrupted by “Aw Snaps” and the dates of the comics keeping switching back and forth..
Good afternoon Vagabonds!.Welcome home Jan and Rita! Reading of your daily escapes was fun, but in the end there is no place like home. .Last November my husband talked me into buying a new computer with Windows 10. There are days when I want to lovingly place it in my driveway and accidently run over it multiple times. :) Instead I just turn it off and leave it alone for 2-3 days..Hot, humid and sticky here in Mid-MO; AKA normal!.Quiet here these days. The grandkids are now old enough to go straight home from school. So every Thursday everyone comes here for supper and we get to spend a couple of hours together.
