If police weren’t killing and getting away with it, there would be no need to shoot them with cellphones and unstable people with guns wouldn’t be driven to these terrible acts. Fix the police and you fix the problem.

Unless Matt Bors is an African-American (he’s not), then he has no right to suggest the culturally appropriate reaction to the daily oppression and discrimination and brutality faced by that segment of the population. Shame on you, Mr. Bors, for suggesting that “by any means necessary” must be limited to the cell phone!
Having nearly a decade in law enforcement, and seeing indeed guys with “authoritarian” attitude who should NOT have been in law enforcement, we do need to back off on further militarization of police, AND we need to work on getting the massive numbers of guns in the “wrong hands” off the streets as well.
The North Miami shooting of a caregiver, lying on his back, hands in the air, next to his mentally challenged patient was indeed inexcusable. That the cop who shot him responded “I don’t know”, when the guy asked why the cop shot him, like the old man who shot instead of taking a guy, proves we need to get incompetents off police forces as well.
Racial tensions, thanks all you righties screaming “He’s a Kenyan!” For years now, and still doing it, haven’t helped a bit. And the “ban all Muslims”, and deport all illegals, and other impractical jokers, only add to the hate, and the problem, with NO SOLUTIONS OFFERED. (Btw with no taxes, HOW do they intend to fund bans or deportations?)
