MARY WORTH: @ Teh & marvee – the real downside to all of this is that at the present time the opioids prescriptions have so many restrictions (because they abused and used illicitly by the likes of Tommy) that sometimes people in real pain have difficulty getting the opioid meds they need for appropriate and licit use for pain relief.
PHANTOM: Looks like P. is going to send “Little Mikey” home to Chicago and his Pop, the Boss (see panel 1 – Bruno & Pop D’Moda). But P. and Commander Worubu are going to hang onto the pilot and the thugs (see 8/7 strip). This arc is a challenge to follow in a once a week strip, but I’m giving it “a go.” Mickey uses the term, BADA BOOM, short for bada bing, bada boom, a Mafia term used as slang for, it’s finished; taken care of.
FUNKY: some hazing incidents have found their way into the court system. maybe this is where Batiuk got the idea for this arc. JUDGE PARKER: let’s hope Sophie and the car’s driver Derek do not drink from the vodka bottle we see in the back seat. MARK TRAIL: my home state Missouri is said to be the “cave state.” PHANTOM: I’m glad you’re giving this strip a go Florchi. This story arc I admit is hard to follow and not very interesting.

I’m guessing she’s the bright-eyed older sister.REX MORGAN: @ Arye – good question. @ woodworker Yes, it appears that all along Dolly has been seeing her departed daughter, Linda, in young Sarah…and now she feels bereaved for the second time. Not good…I too hope that Rex hears about this or figures it out somehow. MARK TRAIL: @ Teh – I didn’t know that about Missouri (“cave state”); my son has his summer home in MO. JUDGE PARKER: @ Teh – I agree! Let’s hope!!
Rex Morgan – Just when we were cheering being rid of Dolly Pierpont, we’re thrown a twist that twists the heartstrings.Judge Parker Derek and Sophie seems on good terms now, but I hope they don’t do too much celebrating. Get home safely first.Prince Valiant – I didn’t know ravens had been used to carry messages. And this one brought good news (unless it’s a trick).
