That says it all. I have no more faith in our institutions. After giving the evidence, Comey turns around & does not recommend an indictment. Incredible. No censure, fine, warning, slap-on-the-wrist. No nothing. We are nothing but peons to her.

Being administratively sloppy is not indictable. The biggest injustice would have been if her political enemies had miss-used the power of the State through the law to defeat her. Instead it will be the voters who decide whether she is competent and trustworthy to lead the nation. When her political enemies look at who they have as an alternative, they are understandably depressed.

More unbridled hate and fairly tales of conspiracy. Facts don’t matter anymore. Just name call and accuse. No rationality. I think this may be how the decline of a country looks.

After spending a pot full of money on these investigations of Hilary can you blame them when the outcome is not what they wanted. To accept the findings would mean the investigations were for nothing. The GOP would have to admit to a waste of effort and tax payers money.. That.. could not stand, they must continue the fight.

She should just get John Yoo to write a memo stating that whatever she did was perfectly legal.Worked before.

And now the state of New York has done the same thing to (for) NYC Mayor deBlasio. He broke the law, but won’t be charged! Welcome to the new oligarchy.

Where was this (self-) righteous regard for the law when it was proven that Dubya lied to the American people about WMDs in Iraq…?

    I’m still waiting…

And, come to think of it, where was this high outrage over violation of the law when VP Cheney outed Valarie Plame publicly as a CIA agent, another violation of the law?

    Take your time…

The Law as seen by right wing make-em-ups was violated. US law is fine, she didn’t do anything wrong. Wonder how the view from under Trump is. Looking up at the scofflaw while the Republicans whip themselves into a tizzy because their partisan attack dog couldn’t get her on anything… again.

Comey said, “Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."What he meant was she failed to live up to the FBI’s standards of keeping busybodies out of their business.Skeptical? What do you think, “The security culture of the State Department in general, and with respect to use of unclassified email systems in particular, was generally lacking in the kind of care for classified information found elsewhere in the government," means?

The FBI director found plenty of evidence of crimes. He declined to recommend prosecution, probably to save his political arse.As was mentioned multiple times in Comey’s hearings before Congress, if a non-Clinton citizen of the US did the same things HilLiary did, that citizen would be in handcuffs. The Clintons are apparently above the law, as Mr. Gorrell points out.

Exonerate: Absolve from blame for a fault or wrongdoing, especially after due consideration of the case. – Sounds like Clinton was exonerated by the FBI.

Right wingers see the law as a weapon with which to punish their opponents, unless it is applied to them. Then they see it as government overreach.

The GOP is in denial. All they have is investigate with their minds already made up.
