Except it doesn’t work quite like that, you take the risks and get the injuries but you don’t die young. Fate mockingly laughs at you and you live a long, painful middle age where no one wants to hire you because you can’t work a full day. Then finish with a hopeless, poverty ridden, old age where every thing you try to do hurts and no one cares.

Was Sellers slated for that role too? I can’t imagine anyone except Slim Pickens riding that nuke to glory!
