I’ve been of high school for 13 years I’ve forgotten most of the lyrics of the school song. Also, although I’ve never attend the university, the beginning lyrics of the Brigham Young University fight song still ring in my ears thanks to Dad who’s an alumnus (rise and shout, the Cougars are out, on their way to fame and glory).
The plugger that endures does go, but I’ll doubt that his car is still in production. is this one a Mercury, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Plymouth or some other?
In 2013, we had our 50th class reunion with about 70% attendance and we all managed to remember the school song and some of the class members, who came from four different grade schools, sang their grade school songs ! ! !
I didn’t have a car until I was out of high school and in my first year of college. It was a ‘60 Plymouth and I wouldn’t mind having one like it again; if only for old memories about what an unreliable POS it was!
As for reunions, my wife and I try to attend all as they come available. We still get together with several friends we went through high school and college with one or two times each week for breakfast, lunch, or sometimes dinner…

Well, I don’t know what to say other than the barber has to either make a living or live off the public dole, and being a taxpayer, I’d prefer he/she be a supporting member of American society. That, in comparison to a Chinese laborer making Flowbees…

That would have been a problem: I didn’t have a car when I graduated. In fact, as I walked to the car with my dad post-commencement, one of my classmates called out, “Where are you going for senior week?” “HOME!” I shouted. “That doesn’t sound like fun,” she replied. Jerking a thumb in my dad’s direction, I said, “Tell HIM!!”Although, truth be told, once I heard some of the things that happened to some of my classmates post-commencement, I was secretly glad to have had my dad for cover.
