Finally, the answer to how they called Batman in the daytime. :) I’m loving this, Danae has met her match in Jill.

The cool and weird; some combination; and it is interchangeable. A nature natural, or natural nature; what does Jill do besides have fun. Can Danae ;use her cynicism?

I am loving this story line! Jill keeps Danae just a little off balance (which Danae is not used to). Good for Jill!

I’ve hardly seen a bat at all this summer, and usually there are quite a few in the evenings; I think all the residential spraying against mosquitoes has had an effect…

Well, if Danae had the call of nature before, she probably doesn’t have it now. However a change of underwear might be advisable.

You haven’t lived until you’ve done something that caused you to perform an involuntary evacuation of either bowels or bladder … and I am not talking about old age either.

Guy was bitten by rabid bat here, $30,000 for medical treatment, $30 K !!!!!! Meanwhile when they wanted to clear the bats out of a VA domicilliary, it was pointed out that in the former marshes where it was built, bats kept down the mosquitoes that carried three major deadly diseases to the clients, while nobody had ever been bitten by a bat! Guano was periodically cleaned out to avoid problems with potential problems with that.

Ah, yes, Australia, snakes and things that bite and are deadly, just don’t handle ‘em. It’s like reading strips you don’t like, save the pain, and pass ’em by.

Jill has the makings of a new semi regular character. This whole story line follows the premise of the strips title.

It would appear your opinion of the Jill series is in the extreme minority here. You have a right to your opinion and to voicing it here. But your declaration that it’s “not funny” as an absolute is just plain wrong, and that applies to every cartoon. Humor is subjective and you can only speak for yourself. Please don’t imply that your taste is somehow universal. It’s not. That’s why there’s a variety of comics.

I work in a hospital. I see the results of nature killing us every day. Believe me, nature is 100% committed to killing and eating every one of us; and in many cases, eating us first and killing us second.
