Our excitement of the day was when a neighboring property’s peacocks and peahens ran loose all over our hill. They sure are beautiful birds, but we’re the ones who have to clean up their poop off our porch. :((Harumph!
Our temperature got up to 116 yesterday, and the same is forecast for today and tomorrow. Good day to stay home, but unfortunately I have errands to run.
We got the RV back from having the step motor replaced ($765!) and will put it back into storage this afternoon. I think I will take advantage of having it here and get a few things put away in the “basement” storage that we couldn’t reach while it is parked between a semi truck tractor & a boat.
Friday we are having the final bit of wiring put into the Fit so the supplemental braking system will work properly. Then a week to sort, pack and get ready to leave on Saturday Aug 6.

Off on day 7 of the heat wave. Temp is now 80.
We have to put up with it as we will be shoveling snow soon enough.
My daughter seems to be much better when we went to see her yesterday. There may be light at the end of the tunnel.
