Good morning Vagabonds!.Woke up at 4:30 am to thunder and lightning and am now enjoying a steady, quiet rain. It should continue for most of the day. I can’t remember the last time we had so much rain in July as we have had this year. I like it..Sorry I have been out of touch. Every time I get settled into a morning routine of reading the comics something or someone gets me going in another direction then I don’t get back to the comics until just before bed. Monday, new week, new month maybe this time I can get back to my favorite morning routine. :).I have been reading the comments everyday and am glad to hear that everyone is doing well, and that Karen is better. Nothing scarier that a sick child regardless of that child’s age..Everyone have a great day!!
Yesterday, for the first time in months, we did not get over 100 degrees – only 97. We do however have 35% humidity, which combined with the temp is pretty nasty. Today’s forecast is for 102.
Countdown to the vacation: 5 days. All that’s left to do is gather and pack.
Good to hear from you, Chris. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to do something for yourself, too.
Major wildfire in Hamilton, MT about 200 miles west of us if you drive, but only about 100 miles as the crow flies. The smoke blew directly over us last night, and then, thankfully blew south east, and we could open the windows. Huge fire, though.

Weather not too bad today. Not too hot but somewhat humid.
Thought Karen might come home today but they have decided to keep her one more day. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
