Good morning Vagabonds.Looks like another nice day, Gary says we are setting between systems and dew points are in the 50s..We are headed out to Dartmouth Medical Center, my nephew has an appointment..Before the fireworks last night we were watching a truck pull (one of my favorite forms of vehicular violence). Some of the diesel pickups looked like a steam locomotive coming down the race track in front of the grand stand.Fireworks were set off the old fashion way, a road flare and a fast run to safety. A little slow but just as perdy..A wish of a good day to all. :-).ttfn

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

Our internet wasn’t working this a.m., and, after a call to Montana Internet, a tech (who spoke English) did all kinds of magic over the wires and we are up and running. It’s amazing what they can do over the phone!

I overdid it yesterday and can hardly move, sacroiliac doesn’t like all the vacuuming I did. So, later on this a.m., I will go for my walk and hopefully work out the kinks. As Slim used to say……..Getting old sure isn’t for Sissies!!!

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

It is a good morning. Hot, but beautiful. Prayer meeting this morning, but my usual Tuesday card game is cancelled. The hostess is in CA.

The street construction continues. They’ve dug up the center of the intersection nearby to make a roundabout. Most folks still aren’t too sure how to maneuver a roundabout, especially since it is still defined by cones. So we get the guy who barrels on through no matter what the traffic looks like and the guy who stops and waits until the entire circle is empty before proceeding. Such fun, unless you are behind the second one.

I hope everyone had as good a holiday as we did.

Good afternoon Everyone..Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th! Had the family over for a BBQ then the kids all left for the fireworks on the fort. Hubby and I watched A Capitol Fourth on PBS. Still tired this morning..ML and McPeeters I also miss Slim. I wish I had kept some of his writings. :(.I am not a fan of roundabouts. About 15 years ago there was talk of putting in 4 of them from the interstate to the Main gate of Ft Leonard Wood, that was about 2 1/2 miles. By Mid September with traffic backed up from 4-6 miles down the interstate in both directions it was decided that it would not be a good idea.
