Does that mean the land that is now at the North Pole was growing palm trees, or that the palm trees were growing at what was then the North Pole?

You forgot to mention that at the Boring Conference they watch snails to see how far long it takes them to crawl a mile, then watch the North Pole to see how long it takes to grow a palm tree, then they write these things down and send them to “Believe it or Not.”

Yawnfest sounds alot like Congress in session! Incompetence in any organization busies itself with trivia or small matters to avoid the meat of matters and hard judgement calls that reveal and expose their feebleness!

The cores brought up at the north pole show what was happening in that area 53 million years ago. That area was not the north pole 53 million years ago. Continental shift moves and still does move land (continents) around.

I also believe the earths magnetic core shifted sense then witch would change the north pole position.

Maybe he could do it faster if he didn’t have to take his house with him.

No, I pulled that one out of the air, not realizing that FFN had been dreamed up earlier. I attended WIU (Macomb, Ill) 1957-58 and then ITC (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) till 1961. Then the US Army was waiting.Manzarali was a “secret” cold war listening post near Ankara, Turkey. On a tall hillNear a major highwayDistinctive Army buildingsAnd acres of antennas!Researching FFN: NASA will not accept anything speced in FFN. Unit may have been useful in stagecoach travel days?
