The loop is sort of a temporal eddy current created by your Avatar. Time sweeps by backwards. It’s relatively equivalent to moving forward in time. Farther back and bigger loops take more power. Bigger loops collapse better. Time likes to flow smoothly and averages out any changes. When time averages its changes within the span of the loop, it can collapse and release. If not, it spawns new timelines and you reiterate the loop until it evens out and you pop back downtime. The Rat and Roll Revolution was spewing new timelines like a flock of gargoyles spewing boiling oil.
