Hello Vagabonds.Fog again this morning, but the sun is shining on the leaves already and it will soon burn off.It looks like the Forth will be a nice day for anything happening, big one at the fair grounds in Barton..A friend of mine had a standing joke witch goes: I’m going out on the Third to get a Fifth for the Forth. Eh, you get used to it..Today should go well but tomorrow will begin to get wet by evening..Good day :-).ttfn
Only got up to 84 yesterday. It was quite pleasant.
Jan, there is a cookbook I just got (about 15.00) from America’s Test Kitchen. It’s called the Slow Cooker Revolution. I totally enjoy their publications, and have learned sooooo much from their PBS shows. You might go on line to check it out. The first recipe was for lasagna, which was super! The fun part was that you use a double layer of aluminum foil to cook it in, and then just lift it out. I have about 15 servings in the freezer now, and didn’t have to use the hot oven!!!
We sat out on our front porch last night, with it’s view of the city, and watched a really great thunderstorm work it’s way across the ridge of the Elkhorns.
Oh, I saw my first falling star of the season. WooHoo!
Not much happening today. I plan to get my hair cut, but that’s about it. Michael is working from home, so I don’t even have to take him to work.
I am using a different computer today because the fan on mine went out. It’s going for repair this morning! I don’t have my usual shortcuts for the weather, so I have no idea what our forecast is for the next few days. It is currently 91 on my patio, but that’s all I’ve got.
Good afternoon Vagabonds..Ladies, have you tried the 9×13 crockpot? My youngest gave me one last year on my birthday and I love it. It is really great for casserole dishes and I also use aluminum foil lifts, makes cleaning so much easier. :).So far the temp here is only 78 degrees and humid. Someone in the area is getting rain, but it isn’t me! Rain is predicted thru Tuesday. The family will all be here for BBQ on Monday rain or shine. .Have a great day..
