Hmm… I dunno. People live longer now. The retirement age does need to be raised.

Professional athletes have great retirement plans, but most of them don’t live long enough to benefit from them…

and why can’t the “big man” help his granny out w/ some financial aid ? it’s a write-off…

raise the age of retirement and then make it easier to fire them just like the old days.

Boy those conservatives are stupid. Obama owns the printing presses. Just print more money. That would solve all of our problems.

In one lifetime I had a very, very low expectation of a long life. Then in another I had a reasonable expectation of a fairly long life. Then in another I had an expectation that I might not make it to retirement. Then I had the idea I might make it to retirement. Then I wondered why I was concerned about any of it.

I shall work until I do not want to work any longer, at which time I shall retire. That I am 64 now means I have about 6 years to go.

Or not.
