    This comic is spot on because especially here in The Apple, you can hardly find any 7 Eleven cashiers and helpers and especially cab drivers who almost can’t speak a word of English! But I believe that’s a political move. Just like Mayor Eric Adams putting up all these shelters for homeless immigrants! What about the folks like us and especially Black folks who’ve been here for hundreds of years?? And incidentally, I’ve gotten around the language barrier a little bit by learning a couple of words in Arabic.
