A buddy of mine ran a rental stable. He was overrun with little girl helpers. (They stayed for years, too!)

Our granddaughters did that for about 3 years and actually loved every minute of it. However, the summers were worse……humidity, heat, smell…………

Next Adam gets to proofread and revise according to the editor’s demands and then when the thing is finally in print wander all over the country staying in cheap motels and doing book-signings. With luck, he’ll make minimum wage at least part of the time in sales.
