Revelations is my favorite chapter but I haven’t read it in a while. “Yes, kind of,” would be my answer. The vast majority of the damage will be self-inflicted, at least according to that chapter. It’s certainly not stated in the Noah’s Ark chapter that He says “next time by fire” more as He simply says “I won’t flood the Earth again.” But it can be inferred based on the tone of Revelations that it’s a pretty fiery mess.
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
