CALVIN: I feel that way sometimes, but don’t express it quite like Hobbes is doing.CRANKSHAFT/FUNKY W.: @ david – Yes, this is getting interesting, especially with the crossover. Are you also reading Funky W. ? In Crankshaft we see the closet and the image of Jeff as a boy, and then in F.W., we see an elderly Jeff with a ring…a ring that was in a box of things from his boyhood closet.REX MORGAN: I am trying to read Buck’s expressions. We know he used to collect comic books. What is his “new job”? Does he have some sort of interest in what Hank Jr. may decide to do with the new-found “treasure”?MANDRAKE: I am betting M. will believe Mrs. Clem’s story.PHANTOM: Some nice drawing by the new weekday Phantom artist, Mike Manley. :-)

Phantom – The Sunday strips are drawn by Terry Beatty who does Rex Morgan, but there’s no glaring difference as there is with Sunday Mary Worth
