Dangerous rhetorical question here:Why can a woman make mean comments about a man’s appearance, but if he does it about a woman he ends up in the hospital?
As I said, I know the answer…..learned it lo those many years ago.
Women have a long way to go to catch up with men about making demeaning comments about the other’s appearance, I think.

Tried the beard thing 30 years ago, while away at school during exams. After two weeks I looked like Yasser Arafat.
When I got home, my wife said, “it shows promise.”
My six-year old son said, “Cool, Dad!”
My four-year old son said, “It looks terrible, shave it off. Now!”
Knowing he was the honest one, I honored his request.
