I never knew you weren’t allowed to enjoy Tschaikowsky if you enjoyed Beethoven.. Actually, I never knew who Tschaikowsky was either. Is that another way to spell Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s last name?

Well finally something other than Beethoven. He needs variety.

Schroeder has almost aged up to Charlie Brown, Patty, Violet, and Shermy at this point. Still not speaking much though.

So Schroder goes both ways? (Tchaikovsky was gay and Beethoven was a ladies’ man.)

Be glad that you were not lying against the piano, Charlie Brown, like Lucy will be doing a few years from now. You may not like what would have happened next…

Many years later, Lucy asks Schroeder something like: “If Beethoven was so great, what about Bach, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Mozart?” To which Schroeder replied “They were great too”. I’d look for it here on gocomics, but there are way too many Peanuts strips to go through…

I’ve also seen Chaikovskii, because why should record collectors have an easy time filing? I was going to guess something from The Seasons (and I wasn’t going to look it up), but now I’ve gone and checked, and it’s the third measure of his Opus 5 Romance. It’s in F minor, so there would be four flats in the signature.Unlikely that Charlie Brown would know that, though. He was pretty much a philistine at that time.
