I did, Charlie Brown. Living in the country didn’t keep it from being absolutely flat.

Also, I never did see the point of having a sled in that flat, flat town. You threw it down on the snow, jumped on it—and it sank into the snow and went nowhere. Wheeeee.

The country is the best p,ace to live in, even if it’s not the perfect place for certain people.

At least they didn’t end up like Jill Kinmont, or even Sonny Bono.

We used to live in a suburban area, but there was a farm a few blocks away. It had nice sledding hills. Then, one year, we were told we were no longer allowed to go sledding on the farm. I guess this had to do with insurance. There was no other good place in town to go sledding.

Much later, Snoopy found plenty of hills to sled on, using his supper dish as his sled.

Their way too old for this. Need to be two or three with a much smaller sled. Still have fond memories of going sledding in the front yard of the house we were living in when I was that age. And for years I thought there was a bit of a hill in the front yard. Then when I was in my teens I saw that house for the first time in almost a decade. Was shocked to learn the front yard was nice and flat and that the hills I’d been sledding down had actually been a snow bank. But to a two or three year old it was an awesome sledding hill.

My in-laws had friends who lived “on a hill” in Kansas!

Day after day, alone on the hillThe man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly stillBut nobody wants to know himThey can see that he’s just a foolAnd he never gives an answer

    >But the fool on the hillSees the sun going downAnd the eyes in his headSee the world spinning around…
