    Good morning Vagabonds.

After a drizzly, cold raw day yesterday, it is supposed to be a sunny day with temp in the 80’s for the next few days.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

2 Days and COUNTING!! Though nothing seems to be happening. We leave Palmdale this morning, and will be in San Diego for at least a week.It was in the high 60’s here yesterday, with a bunch of wind making it chilly. We went and visited with some of our old neighbors in Acton. Felt really good to visit with them, and catching up. The view from our old house is the only thing we miss about living there. I don’t miss CA at all!!!

The drive down to SD always presents it’s challenges. The Cajon Pass is still under construction, so the wild traffic becomes even wilder. So, if we get out of here in the next hour we should be okay.

Oh, we missed the desert bloom………it is extremely dry. There were a bunch of wild flowers from Salt Lake City to St. George, but we were about a week late for the desert as Jan said.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Not much happening here in “Sin City”. We have a new arena that opened last month. Barbra Streisand is supposed to perform there the weekend we leave for CA. Traffic shouldn’t be too bad – they will be coming and we will be going.

We also have a new IKEA, the first in Nevada. We went for a visit on Sunday, and it was an absolute zoo. They even had police out directing traffic in and out of the parking lot. Some of my friends have never been to one and I’ve been telling them to wait at least a month before shopping there.

Temp is 67. Expected high is 78. Gonna be another gorgeous day.

Victoria and I have decided to leave the barrier islands. This summer will mark 22 years since we moved here from NYC. We’re looking for a house in Tennessee. With luck we’ll be settled in before winter. -I was born in Chattanooga in 1939 and grew up on a farm located about half way between there and Knoxville. I left that farm in 1958 and over the years lived in California, Oklahoma, Florida, Virginia and Georgia before moving to Nashville, TN… then to Sweetwater, TN before heading out for NYC in 1979. -My new book hits the market in July… I hope to work on my next one while living in Tennessee. At 76 I’m ready for “home.”

May you find the home of your dreams and be settled in by next fall. Best of luck in the sale and purchase of homes and the move itself.
