Although railroads could benefit from cheap nuclear power (straight electric traction), trucks and cars not so much. There’s the whole range vs weight thing working here if you’re thinking batteries… and you still haven’t addressed air travel at all…

The bird survival rates people keep thinking of are from the Exxon Valdez spill decades ago. It’s much improved these days.
