Ever since that dog preacher, Reverend Milan, came to town and told them they were “good dogs” they figure they have to prove they are “bad to the bone”“Good dogs” have no fun.

They’re very proud of their “bad dog” attitude….it’s become almost a status symbol!

Even some businesses in town are starting to pander to them….

Meanwhile…Constance has always put up with a lot from Rex…

And with her permissiveness, and little guidance from Niles…I’m afraid that dog will get in major trouble one day soon….

Well, it;s no wonder really. Niles never wanted the dog in the first place. And he’s always resented Rex after Connie said she wanted a dog “for company.”

Not only are the dogs of Ballard Street more intelligent than their human counterparts but some are much better behaved ! :
