Robot League Baseball Frank: The player upgrades are great this year! New batteries and antennas will increase our home runs and decrease strikeouts. Ernie: They'll hit with more power, yet still make consistent contact. Frank: A software patch will cut down on our errors. Ernie: And the catcher's signs are encrypted now so they won't get stolen. Frank: Even with all that stuff, the most important upgrade is organic, grown in a biology lab! Ernie: Yeah, every member of the pitching staff has a live arm!

I think I read somewhere that if a baseball game was edited down to the actual action, a game would last about twenty minutes.

My wife likes baseball, but we don’t go to games anymore. That stopped when I asked if I could take a book with me.

Baseball has become like soccer. It is fun to play but boring to watch. Hope both sports add robots.

Mad Magazine’s “Basebrawl” had a lot of silly stuff, but it also had three ideas that would fix baseball:1) Pitcher is on the batter’s team2) Batter gets one pitch, it’s a hit or an out3) Any hit leaving the playing area (in any direction) is an out.I’m sure it would require a few added tweaks but there would be action on every pitch.

Robots would be better for American football, since it is so hard on the body. Baseball, however, is a game of strategy. And those who think it boring don’t understand the psychological dual between the pitcher and the batter.
