    The stupidity of keeping this embarrassment open is overwhelming.I thought conservatives wanted to conserve wasteful expenditures. It is costing too much, not just in terms of how people hate us, but how much it costs to keep each prisonner there each and every day!

    My question is why the blood soaked war criminal Barack Hussein Obama waited seven years for this.

    The nice thing about Gitmo is you don’t have to prove anybody you throw in there did anything. You can just lock them up forever and do whatever you want to them. American justice and democracy at work.

    “…..Another example of the looney-toons running the executive branch….”.And why exactly is transferring the inmates to American maximum security jails and giving them a fair trail an example of looney-toons? Oh no reason, because it was proposed by Obama I suppose.

    Leave it up as a monument to republican hatred and arrogance, like they left the death camps in Germany as a reminder.

    Are you aware of the WWII POW camps that held German prisoners in the United States.I knew one prisoner that after the war was over and he was released, he returned to Oklahoma and lived the rest of his life there.Bringing prisoners to the states is only looney-toons to scared fearful people. (don’t forget you gun to make you feel safe)

    The darkness was what the terrorists did to us, not what we do to them.

    @OldCoal

    You reveal a lot about yourself if you think somehow the 6th amendment, or any of the Constitution gives rights to foreigners much less foreign TERRORISTS! You Libs won’t be happy till America is ruined.

    Pguy24 and NR, many Americans, have ALWAYS promoted HUMAN rights, which are not considered entitlements. Any person on American soil, is entitled to American rights.

    What’s wrong with you Libs?? Only AMERICANS are entitled protection and rights from the Constitution! Try feeling entitled like that in another country, see how far you get.

    @PianoGuy24He’s talking about American values that Trump, Rubio & Cruz would discard as useless. I doubt you have the capacity to understand that aside from the fact that torture does not produce useful information, it makes us as evil as the ISIS goons.Or, are you going to argue for moral relativism?

    @Uncle Joe

    We’re also talking talking about rights in our and other countries when you obey the laws vs breaking the laws. But as another Lib posted in here there’s seems to be no difference between the two. Sad that you are so sympathetic to the terrorists.
