Of MS has said all future OS upgrades will be incremental so Win 10 will be the last named OS.

Well I just moved off of Win XP Pro to Win 7 Pro and that was not by choice. Burn out a capacitor on the motherboard.

Not a fan of Windows 10. I will not be upgrading anytime soon either

Win10-only needed for DirectX 12. Otherwise, I’d prefer to stick with 7 myself (stupid fried motherboard…)

Considering that I spent three ours last night to resolve an issue where the Windows 10 Start Menu quits working, I think she’s got the right idea. (Turns out that Windows 10 and Dropbox don’t play well together.)

The free Windows 10 screwed up my laptop, despite the message that said it would be no problem. I’m back on 8.

Amen to that one! I love my Windows 7, 8 is not very good. Annoying pop-ups for 10. Was told by friends that pictures & albums on 7 are not compatible with 10. 7 tech support lasts until April of 2020, so I will stay with it.

Macs wont run anything in our Emergency Center and the vendors have no interest in non MS compatibility.

You skip every other OS in Windows. Get 7, skip 8. W10 is fine, skip whatever comes out next and get 12

Words of wisdom. I’m sticking with Windows 7. At least I know that works.

My work computer is Win 7 – and is great. I bought a laptop for home – no choice but Win 8: I HATE it! – buggy as all get out with LOTS of glitches. Definitely NOT upgrading to 10. I’ll wait until I am forced to get a new computer.
