Love them hand-me-downs! Kids grow so fast, it is much more practical than brand new everything.

It’s pretty silly to buy new stuff (unless you’re a grandparent — then it’s fun to spoil your kids and grandkids).

For 3 years my son grew so fast he had to have larger clothes every 6 months. We spent a lot of time and very little money at the local thrift stores. We also made a point of taking back the clothes he didn’t destroy.

I had to laugh when somebody gave me a sweater for my oldest (then only) daughter – which had originally belong to ME!

Actually I’ve handed some stuff off to the local schools. Just incase a student has something happen to them. And they need a change of at least one if not more items of clothing at the school nurse’s office.I learned that fact when my kid needed a change of clothing due to a accident at school. Since then, I’ve tried to help out with some items as needed. This includes socks. besides the pants and tops that I’ve handed over to the nurse.
