    Ah, those days when gasoline was twenty five cents a gallon, the attendant wiped your windshield and checked your oil, and gave you S&H green stamps. With a fill up, you could get a free car wash.

    Allen Sherman recorded a song called, Down The Drain . It recalled all the different things that have vanished. IE. Telephone Prefixes. They’ve gone to where Tom Mix is. Down The Drain.
