You never get the air conditioning, unless you live on the east coast.

Granted, I only buy a car every ten years or so, but I can’t recall the last time I even saw one without air conditioning.

You can get a car for a lot less than the advertised price by letting the dealer go through all the trouble of figuring out the financing, getting approvals, etc., then you look seriously reluctant, get cold feet, then offer about 75% of the advertised price in cash. (You’ll have to have the cash ready.) That’s how I got my previous car. The dealer at that point is willing to take the cash right away than wait 3 to 5 years for twice the amount to dribble in with the bank taking much of it.

Coyote:Except they sell the loan after about one or two payments. They don’t give a crap if you can pay it or not.

Never let them get you to buy the extended warranty(they never honor it), and never get them to sell you the under coating.

I remember back in the day, “Factory Air” was a big thing in car commercials. But silly me, I never connected it to the idea of Air Conditioning, I recall being confused over why it was so important that the tires still had factory air in them.
