    There are different forms of hyponatremia. A controversy for endurance athletes is hyponatremia from taking in too much water.

    Look at the outfield, Linus. That’s a part of why you loose. Look at the infield, that’s another part of why you loose, though not as much as the outfield. Look at the pitcher. His fast ball is as fast as his slow ball, which is as fast as his regular pitches. And his curve ball is as straight as all his other pitches.

    If they are losing salt and water, in proportion, through sweat, then the concentration in the circulation would be unchanged; instead of hyponatremia, they would have hypovolemia. And I agree with neverenoughgold that Gatorade would be called for!
