So, how can Chief Patton send Tracy out of the country? Once Cuba is involved, it becomes an FBI matter, not the concern of the local police.

This becomes Wunbrow’s case with Tracy assisting him, would be my guess. Tracy has no hard evidence linking Specs to criminal activity beyond stealing the glasses. He does have reason to believe that Specs and Spicy are at risk of being murdered. To save the couple means going to Cuba. Road trip!

Ummm, what I was trying to say (though it didn’t come out very clearly) was that he’s been stuck in the office a lot and he should be happy to get out — in the case of Cuba, waaay out.

Glad to hear it. You’ll have to drop in a picture at some point. As for the “few pounds” you’ll have to take it easy on those fried spiders if you want your clothes to fit. :)

@Sydney Phillips:They actually never said exactly how much gold was on the “Billion Dollar Limited.” Anyway, Tracy got it back, just as the mayor ordered.

As for the recent bank job, Sam specifically said (January 5), “In and of itself, it’s not that unusual, Tracy. It’s the timing that’s a mystery.” The theft from the bank is not the focus. The focus is how the thieves are detecting the stuff they are stealing.

Update on Max Allan Collins: He was supposed to be having an outpatient procedure today (Tuesday) and if it worked out he may finally be having his heart operation next week after numerous delays.
