Carmen’s rock-solid “convictions” are what created Rump and built his polling base. I would like to think people aren’t stupid enough to vote for him in the general, but we’re talking Republiklans here.
Firm convictions? He’s been on both sides of every issue. He’s just playing you, and you and Carmen will vote for him without a second thought. I think Bill ought to campaign on “Donald and I are great friends, always have been, so I take whatever he says with a grain of salt. He’s just campaigning, after all.”
When push comes to shove, I will vote whoever is the republican candidate even though I’ll probably have to hold my nose. Anyone on the repub side is infinitely better than any on the dem side.
