The best way to avoid being shot with a gun is to not have one in your home. The majority of gun deaths happen in domestic disputes.

^ Slight correction- domestic disputes are the majority of gun homicides. The majority of gun deaths are suicides. What better way to guarantee a momentary impulse to end it all succeeds than a gunshot to the head? Even more convenient if you’re the sort who thinks keeping a loaded gun in the nightstand keeps you safe.

Your chances of being killed either by a drunk driver (or as one) or from tobacco use are far greater than your chances of being a victim of any form of gun violence. Maybe we should be focusing on those (preventable) causes.

Not really. The fed interest rate just went up, there was no social security income adjustment because they say there was no increase of cost of living.Do these people never shop for groceries??The gun of the government status quo is aimed directly at the middle class.

You might want to check the stats. Use a search engine or Wikipedia and see where suicide rates for various countries rest— it has nothing to do with how “easy” the method might be.
