You’re right, Bob — he called it terrorism, he called it extremist ideology, he said Middle Eastern nations needed to take a more active role, he said he would continue to take out terrorists wherever they were — but, dammit, he didn’t promise to stop being a Democrat. And that other thing he is that we don’t mention but don’t like.
Republican/conservatives have one basic interpretation of public statements made by politicians: If Obama says it, it is weak and ineffective; if a Republican says it, it is brilliant, insightful, and presidential.
Shouldn’t we give Gorrell credit for drawing a very versatle ’toon? Afterall, he could just replace his caricature of President Obama with a drawing of any of the current GOP presidential candidates and not change the wording!
