If you took every last penny from every country in the world, you are not going to defeat Mother nature from going through her Earth natural cycles, that have been going on since the dawn of time. I am sure our government can’t wait to offer Billions of our dollars to solve what can’t be solved by a vain mankind, no more than anyone can stop a volcano from erupting.
Unfortunately all that useless bla bla is probably going to end up in some BS (read taxes) that makes life more expensive for everyone…for no good reason…again!
I’m on CET so I’m usually early enough on some ’toons. But depending on the time-zone and judging from the comments above mine, anthropomorphic climate change deniers are either very, very early birds or night-owls. I wonder over what they’re losing sleep.
Even if global warming isn’t man-made, the conservation of a non-renewable resource and cleaner, healthier atmosphere make a lot of sense. But, when 90%+ scientists believe global warming is anthropomorphic, and the results could be disastrous for future generations, we are crazy not to be taking it seriously. If we don’t, future generations will be asking, “Why did those idiots gamble with our lives and well-being for the sake of a few extra luxuries?”
Ironic. The sign on the smokestack could just as easily be: “Lisa Benson Industries”. Day after day after day after day after day after day after day ……..
Opinions based on verifiable measured data and opinions based on unmeasurable faith can either lead to confrontation or can be resolved by the superposition of ideologies. Confrontation leads to paralysis and cooperation leads to progress. Denial of faith or denial of science does not make either one go away or become palatable to the other ideology.
@exoticdoc….Amen.-Not to mention the added federal debt, from costs of his 10 days in Paris……I saw a report yesterday that Obama’s motorcade alone cost over $750,000 charged to US taxpayers.
This gathering of leaders arriving in their private 757’s added thousands of tons of CO2 to the atmosphere. Do as they command, not as they do. If they actually believed their own garbage, they’d be afraid to start the engines on those jumbo jets.
It’s obvious the solution to all global problems is no more travel to conferences or meetings (like at the U.N. of course) and do everything with the world leaders out there on Facebook, save a lot of travel costs.

Carbon Credits = Polluting the exact same amount, as long as you buy carbon credits to pay for it.

Can’t even match the hot air that comes from Fox News, Rush and/or a typical GOP “Presidential” Debate.

Yes, we need more action, and less hot air, political and environmental.

Glaciers shrinking all over the world; Artic Sea ice disappearing; growing seasons changing drastically; ocean levels rising ….
Now, why would Benson and her fellow travelers think that global climate change is happening!

Libs don’t do math. That’s how they took 10,257 scientists, found 75 who agreed with their nonsense, and called it 97%.
