My Dad taught me years ago how to double my money when at a casino. He said to take my paper money out of my pocket, fold it in two, put it back in my pocket, and leave the casino!

I always trash them (recycle, actually – don’t want to clog the landfills). I figure that if I really win, they’ll let me know.
