Does anybody actually dry dishes anymore? I mean with a dish towel?

Well then there is camping. Basket of dishes in a laundry basket, spigot of cold water 20 feet from camp site. squirt soap on dishes, wash them, put back in basket, turn on water, rinse, bring back to picnic table and dry, yes, with a dish towel. Change shoes that got wet, put lotion on cold chapped hands.I love camping!

    Bev, me too.

Rose. .. i don’t have a dishwasher. .. but when i use one elsewhere, i just unload the other stuff, and then quickly turn those glasses rightside up or sideways to drain . ..The residual heat dries them fast. If it’s after they’ve cooled, i just let them air dry. Camping? Paper plates and cups.

I love to see a man with a dish towel in his hand. - We have a dishwasher but since it is just the two of us, my husband washes dishes by hand and dries them. I would let them air dry but if that’s what he wants to do – fine.

    Dishwasher?

You mean that funny looking cupboard under the counter next to the sink?

The only thing I wash by hand is my crystal. Everything else, including my sterling, goes in the dishwasher. Just don’t let the silver touch the stainless.

@Tony I wash occasionally (it’s mainly the kids’ chore) and every once in awhile I dry something. We have a dishwasher but we wash by hand and then put them in it to dry. I run it every once in a blue moon.

Don’t have a dishwasher, don’t want one. Air dry the dishes unless I need more space in the drying rack, then I dry enough to make more room for the rest of the dishes.
