In the 90s, my job put a “safe mouth guard next to my desk as certified CPR giver
I tore up my paper for CPR.
Lew, when I rode as a “first offender” (first responder) with the Fire/EMS we were given pocket masks with one way valves to use when giving rescue breaths to protect us from all sorts of nasty thingies including onion and garlic breath.
