Why bother taking them out of the ignition? Nobody is going to steal THAT car. (Even if they tried, they probably couldn’t figure out the secret ritual to start it.)
benbrilling: I just looked up resale values of late 50s DeSoto cars, and I am finding people want anywhere from $25,000 to $35,000 or more for these cars. I imagine the Perfessor’s will go for a bit less because it’s a bit rough, but as it turns out, late ’50s vehicles with big fins are worth serious money to restorers and collectors.
