That “paint” used on highways is actually a liquefied plastic. I once worked for a lawyer who had a client who was badly burned while working on a road crew. The tank keeping the plastic hot and liquid exploded, spraying red-hot plastic all over him. Not pretty.

He was actually commissioned to paint a solid line, but he’s pretty moody today; sometimes he feels like painting, sometimes he doesn’t.
