I fish that plays fetch. Now I’ve seen everything.

That fish can’t un-see what it has seen.

About 10 seconds from this moment, the fish leaps out of its own bowl in a mercy suicide attempt.

Now that is one well-trained goldfish. —By which I mean that it able to tolerate and survive being in the bathtub with Monty.

Is that an offspring from his fling with the Creature from the Lagoon!

In real life, that fish would be a goner. I found out the hard way when I had an aquarium that they are extremely sensitive to water quality and temperature. I had to become an amateur chemist to keep the fish alive for months and years instead of hours or days. I know, it’s just a comic, but it’s surprising how many people think fish can survive in any water, and they bring fish home and kill them by dropping them into poison.

That’s sad how people can keep a beautiful gold fish in such a tiny tank. They don’t realize that gold fish grow big and need a big tank.

That poor fish…

The goldfish has limited options, eh? But Monty means well.
