Implausible… you are correct that he did sleep over the one time uninvited associated with the party. But, like I mentioned to Seismic-2…. while it is likely he is staying at one or more “buddies places”…. it may be that those places are off campus apartments. I am not sure I can suggest a “best” move for Bernice at this point, until I learn more about Piro’s backstory.

6Overall, I like today’s comic. However, I find it sad that Bernice finds her pajamas “too ‘unsexy’” or “too fuddy-duddy” or whatever negative terms she is applying in her mind. I may not speak for most males, but at least for myself, I do know that clothing makes little difference about a romantic attraction. In fact, “vampy” or “sexy” lingerie or pajamas is IMO rather gaudy and embarrassing. It is the person, not the clothes that a guy will like about you, Bernice…. at least if the guy is not a shallow dope.

I agree with you. The guy does appear to need help (from someone with serious training, not just a student of psych). But if he’s not a student, he shouldn’t be staying on a campus. Campus counselors could refer him to agencies that could help him (like a lot of volunteer veterans organizations, if he’s a vet…)

Not for this I would think… I hope. Tiffany has the hots for Piro and might try to sabotage Bern’s efforts if she knew her intent. I hope Bern doesn’t try any extreme makeovers. I don’t think Piro is even looking for that. His needs are more basic at this time. I think he wants and needs real friends at the moment.

Pretty much everyone has little beady eyes. Only Luann, Tiffany, and Nancy has huge eyes, which supports the theory that Nancy had an affair with Mr. Farrell and let him keep one of the fraternal twins. I made this comment the other day. Let’s see if it was removed or I just submitted it wrong. He’s going to have to explain why this guy has no home at some point. I’ll be interested in seeing how he does it. Statistically, this boy is most likely gay. At his age, and being in school with no apparent connections to family I’d say he is a disowned member of the LGBT community. We make up more than 40% of the homeless youth. It would be nice if our existence, and more importantly, the issues of our youth was recognized. But I’m sure one of these anti-gay groups would make some stink about it.
